CASES will be an excellent opportunity to pursue the training of the Arctic specialists of tomorrow. Under the CASES umbrella, Canadian PIs plan on recruiting over 50 graduate students and 15 postdoctoral fellows. Northern students and foreign graduate students and PDFs will also participate in the network, providing an extraordinary training environment with access to expertise in all fields of Arctic sciences and exceptional opportunities for student exchanges among laboratories both at the national and international levels.

Discussion are underway with the Inuvialuit Game Council, the Aurora College and the Fisheries Joint Management Committee to develop a mentoring program for Northern students of  Inuvialuit within CASES.
